As a life-long heavy-duty ADHD sufferer I was able to relate with the ADHD kid as well as the father(I went thru it with my son).
This film is shockingly realistic, even though it was made in 1999 most (if not all) of the "facts" surrounding the condition still hold sway today.
I must say the acting of the main family is outstanding in every area, this could easily of ended up an embarrassing mess, but It turned out to be one of the best and most heart-breaking dramas I have ever seen.
As the other comment suggested, it is a crying shame these great Ch4 dramas are just lost in space.
