Sex & Nudity
"Dinner with Dana" really is the strongest with sexual content, the rest of the season really only has a few brief and of course implied sex scenes, as well as with occasional references to serious issues such as rape, affairs, ect. Things that intertwine with various crime scenes explored throughout the show. Definitely fine for older mature teens (14/15+ depending on maturity) and of course adults.
Season one has a few implied sex scenes. Camera cuts away before anything explicit happens, no nudity at all.
Sex scenes where there is no nudity and it is really only implied. At its worst they might show a bit of the sex but its obscured and cuts off quickly. Infrequent references to sex nothing strong though.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
Violence & Gore
This show deals with violent crime scenes where shootings, stabbings, and beatings are seen. There are episodes where women and men are seen being pushed around and harassed. One episode shows someone burning at a stake and deals with satanic rituals which could be viewed upon as scary and disturbing. A girl is shown hitting her mom in the head with a rock thus killing her. This is because she was trying to perform a satanic ritual to harm the girls father and she was scared. We also see scenes where people are shown burying people they have killed, someone is restrained and shown being injected with drugs, a man gets into a car accident and goes into a 6 year coma, a mall explodes, ect.
One of the more violent episodes is where a bathtub is shown overflowing with blood multiple times. A man is seen with his hands covered in blood. This leads smith to believe that the man murdered his mother, however they later find out it was a suicide he was trying to cover up. The woman is seen from an obscured angle, covered in blood. Not said how she killed herself, but it was bloody.
