We're Still Swooning Over These Sappy 'A Walk to Remember' Quotes 16 Years Later

Ugh, has anyone ever really recovered from A Walk to Remember? It's been 16 years since the first time we met Jamie Sullivan (played by Mandy Moore), her father Reverend Sullivan (played by Peter Coyote), and her love interest Jamie Carter (played by Shane West). It's no secret things got off to a rocky start for Landon and Jamie, but over time he was able to win the cancer-stricken high school student's heart. She even wound up marrying him in the church her mother grew up in — which was at the top of her bucket list — before she tragically succumbed to leukemia. Fans will recall Jamie found out about she was sick two years before graduation. Today, the lovebirds still give us #RelationshipGoals, from Landon making sure Jamie accomplished everything on her list to relentlessly persuading her there was more to his popular boy persona. There's also no denying the movie provided us with enough sappy,

Life Sentence Season 1 Episode 1 Review: Is a New Lease on Life Enough?

If we were to isolate Life Sentence Season 1 Episode 1 from the entire series starring a charismatic Lucy Hale, the show would be a delightful triumph, breezy and fun and easy on the eyes with that CW sheen and glow of beautiful people on our screens.

Life Sentence is a charmer about one woman facing down the prospect of life after having come to terms with her death and the relationships built in just an hour feel lived in, well rounded and cared for by actors who already feel at home in the skin of the character.

But this isn't merely a one hour story, nor is it a mini-series.

Instead, it's only just the pilot of the latest CW series, and while that charm is apparent and striking, there's only so much it can do to power along a show whose shelf-life seems rather limited.

There is an issue where

On Thursday, the 33-year-old actress shared an adorable throwback photo of her, Julie Andrews, and Heather Matarazzo on the set of the Disney romantic comedy on Twitter. "16 year old me with the inimitable @JulieAndrews and @HeatherMatarazz on the set of #theprincessdiaries. #tbt #thosecurlstho," she captioned the snapshot. Lionsgate Beats $55M Lawsuit for Overdubbing Actress' Voice in Movie
Paz de la Huerta, an actress who had prominent roles in Boardwalk Empire, A Walk to Remember and Cider House Rules, has been unsuccessful in convincing a California appeals court to revive her $55 million lawsuit against Lionsgate over the way her voice was overdubbed in Nurse 3D.

In postproduction, she was called on to record offscreen narration, but producers were unsatisfied with the results. Those parts were later rerecorded using a voice double without her...

Mandy Moore Won't Wear a Wedding Gown: 'I've Never Been the Girl Who Wanted ... a White Dress'
Mandy Moore is no stranger to a traditional wedding gown – but strictly on-screen. She wore a vintage bohemian gown with a flower crown for her wedding on This Is Us and went classic bride for her role in A Walk to Remember. But for her upcoming nuptials, the star is going to go the less traditional route.

The 33-year-old told reporters at the This Is Us season 2 premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday that for her upcoming wedding to boyfriend Taylor Goldsmith, things will be kept small and simple — similar to her first nuptials to singer Ryan Adams, whom she divorced in June 2016. (For that wedding,

Exclusive: The Spectacular Reinvention of Mandy Moore

Exclusive: The Spectacular Reinvention of Mandy Moore
“I’m in a completely different chapter of my life, and I don’t begrudge anything.”

On a balmy Sunday afternoon in April, Mandy Moore lounges on a white leather couch in a corner of a bare four-star West Hollywood, California, hotel room, counting down the final minutes of a rare day of work during a picturesque spring weekend. Glam in a chic designer black dress and barely there makeup from a prior event, gone in that moment is any sign of the bubbly teenage blonde pop star singing about puppy love in “Candy.” In her place is a mature, fulfilled 33-year-old who has since demanded the world’s attention on This Is Us.

In NBC’s undisputed breakout family drama, Moore slips into the complicated world of Rebecca Pearson, wife and mother of three (twins and an adopted son), with a signature performance that’s deft and understated in its time-jumping complexities. Getting to this
