Great film! Hugo Claus at his best!
24 October 2001 | by SeverineWSee all my reviews

De Verlossing -written and directed by Hugo Claus- is both sad and comical. It's a great film that can't be missed. Although it originally was a theatre play, this didn't result in filmed theatre. Discrete but meticulous camera work, excellent actors' performances and inspired directing: a worthy closure of the triptych!
