It also puts a new twist to the "Law & Order" formula: now, in each episode, we see the crimes as they are planned and committed.

Two versions of the 4th season episode "Great Barrier" aired, with different time zones of the United States and Canada seeing different endings, one in which villain Nicole Wallace escapes, and another in which she died.
