Storyline

USA Up All Night is USA Cable Network's weekend movie program that lasts into the wee hours of the night. The quality of movies range from top rate to cheesy. In the beginning, Up All Night had hosts that presented the movies and had skits during the films. Gilbert Gottfried hosted on Saturdays in New York City in the beginning in 1989, and halfway through that same year, Caroline Schlitt was tapped as Friday host in Los Angeles. In 1991, Rhonda Shear would replace Schlitt as Friday's host, and late moved to New York in 1995. In 1998, USA decided to do away with Shear and Gottfried and just show movies. Trivia

Because of its instant popularity with USA Network viewers, a Friday-night version was added. Unlike the Saturday one, which was based in New York City, this one was based in Los Angeles. 'Caroline Schlitt' )qv_, fresh off of the short-lived Camp Midnite (1989), was originally the host of each edition, and it premiered on June 30, 1989, with the first two movies being The Pom Pom Girls (1976) and Student Confidential (1987). USA Up All Night!
1 June 2005 | by Movie NuttballSee all my reviews

Every week I would watch USA Up All Night hosted by Gilbert Gottfried and Rhonda Shear! Gilbert Gottfried and Rhonda Shear were a hilarious duo of hosts for this show! I just couldn't stop laughing sometimes when he would joke about movies. The show was a couple hours long and they would have some of the most outrageous low budget films ever. The program also aired many bizarre films as well. The show would have one of the most hilarious films as well and My favorite shows, Dynaman! This was truly on of the most exciting, funny, and special weekly programs and its a shame that this great show is no longer airing. It was a real classic program and that in My opinion there will never be another one like this! If you have a video tape or can some how watch this show do it because I strongly recommend it!
