Storyline

It's a cop show with a twist. Lifetime's series explores the personal and professional lives of five very different policewomen in San Francisco. "The Division" features action, suspense, crime and cat-and-mouse chases. It also looks at the ups and downs of romance, family, motherhood and female friendships. It's good, old-fashioned drama about working women with real-life problems. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

The show is about women police officers in San Francisco. In real-life, many locker rooms for women cops were converted men's rooms. Many cops put plants in the old toilets and urinals, because the fixtures were never removed. In the first season of the show, the locker room for the women was a converted men's room that featured plants in an old urinal stall. See more »

Quotes

Aaron: Looking for these? There were in the hallway.
Jinny: Look, I just, I want you to know that I don't normally do this kind of thing. I had a little too much to drink at my friend's baby shower. Before I went to the bar and had some more to drink. Listen, I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything but, I can't see you again. So please don't ask for my phone number. The thing is, I'm engaged. I know, it's really complicated. At any rate.

The Division is an awesome show!!! Each actor and actress does a great job bringing their character to life. Sure, Nancy McKeon is my personal favorite on the show, but they are all good. Lisa Vidal, as I recently learned (I did not recognize her when I began watching The Division in February), was on my other favorite show ER playing yet another very spunky yet different character than Magda. I have recently been impressed by how well they have put together the very intense shows that they have had this season especially that season finale. It was really cool having Kim Fields guest starring in that episode or rather episodes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a 5th season.
