Nice American storyline vehicle for La Silvia
14 January 2016 | by lor_See all my reviews

Clearly a Hall of Famer for European Adult Cinema, Silvia Saint does a fine job in American porn in "Devoured", a typical early release in Adam & Eve's line of romantic dramas.

Nicholas Steele's direction is to the point in this tale of corporate competition in which romantic liaisons figure prominently. Dale Dabone is in danger of losing his inherited (from dad) company, and after various machinations (and quality sex scenes involving the likes of Julie Meadows, Nikita and lesbian superstar Felecia), gets things sorted out to his advantage.

I liked the jet-set glamor and atmosphere of the piece, done on a moderate budget but looking great. It's light-light fluff without any real dramatics, but manages to hold one's attention for 107 minutes. And Silvia in beautiful gowns is extremely glamorous - she should have crossed over into mainstream cinema with her looks and talent.
