The title sums it it, a story that begins with the Big Bang, setting the universe into existence, followed by four and a half years of life on earth, ending with a man in a car, stuck in a Tuesday morning traffic jam.
It's all free, unconfined motion until life crawls out of the water. After that, each stage in evolution comes out of the neck of a shirt collar, with tie and jacket. It maintains its interest, despite its subdued color palette, by means of a throbbing, driving musical score. Each stage is more involved, more organized, but is it evolution or variations on a theme?
