Great series about one of the greatest Dutch singers
7 January 2003 | by See all my reviews

This TV-series is about Johnny Jordaan, a great Dutch singer.

The role of Johnny is played by a true remarkable actor Kees Prins. He does this so well, one forgets that he is in fact not born in Amsterdam.

The story is about a singer who discovers that he is gay. That fact is in the Netherlands in the fifty's a great problem. And especially for a VIP.
