Chicago Pd Season 4 Episode 14 Review: Seven Indictments

  • TVfanatic
If there was a lesson in Chicago Pd Season 4 Episode 14, it was how well do you know the people you're closest to? "Seven Indictments" really wanted us to think that Kenny Rixton was a dirty cop, while the case of the week revealed a con artist who was pretending to live a double life.

Chicago Fire found two victims at the site of an intentionally set house explosion. One was already dead, presumed to be the house's lone tenant, while the other died on his way to Chicago Med.

The only good thing to come out of this was that it gave us an all too brief Colin Donnell cameo. Any time Colin Donnell turns up anywhere it's a good thing, even if he's only there for about thirty seconds. The Med team is getting short shrift on crossovers this week, between this and Marlyne Barrett's one line in Tuesday's Chicago Fire.

Remembering Brittany Murphy on Her Birthday: 12 of Her Best Movie Moments

Remembering Brittany Murphy on Her Birthday: 12 of Her Best Movie Moments
Crazy to think that Brittany Murphy's gone at all, let alone that it's been six years since she tragically passed away when she was only 32. Today would have been her 38th birthday and, while this could easily be an all-Clueless list, here's a look...

25 mainly forgotten Us number 1 movies from the 2000s

Kevin Spacey, Steven Seagal and, erm, Kangaroo Jack: they all nabbed the box office top spot last decade...

By the end of the 2000s, getting number one at the American box office was a valuable marketing commodity. As such, studios pumped more and more money into making sure they at least had a great opening weekend for their product.

The consequence of this was that it was harder and harder for smaller and quirkier films to take a brief spot in the sun. Certainly towards the second half of the decade, it seems that the number one movie each week was pre-ordinained in a marketing meeting somewhere.

Still, there were some films that have since fallen out of public view that clawed their way to number one. How many of these do you remember?

James Franco Busts Knee Caps in New Red Band 'Homefront' Trailer

Though it doesn't really seem like James Franco would be much of an adversary for Jason Statham, the thriller Homefront has pitted them against each other. Franco is a southern drug dealer who doesn't like an undercover cop trying to start a new life on his turf, and in this new red band trailer, he shows that he means business by busting the knee caps of some new meth dealers who are invading his territory. Then we get into normal trailer territory with some kick-ass action and some profanity thrown around for good measure. We're still not sure if this will be good, but maybe Franco and Statham will make it fun. Watch! Here's the new red band trailer for Gary Fleder's Homefront from IGN: Homefront is directed by Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury, Don't Say a Word) and written by veteran action star, director and producer Sylvester Stallone. Jason Statham Vs. James Franco in Trailer for Homefront

Millenium films has released the first trailer for the Sylvester Stallone-scripted Homefront, which will feature Jason Statham and James Franco trying to take each other down. I personally think Statham has the upper hand, but it looks like Franco will give him a run for his money.

The movie was directed by Gary Fleder (Runaway JuryDon't Say A Word), and it looks really good. It is based on the book by Chuck Logan, and it also stars Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth, and Frank Grillo

Watch: Jason Statham Faces James Franco in First 'Homefront' Trailer

Just a couple days ago, the first look photos from director Gary Fleder's new crime thriller Homefront arrived, and now the first trailer is here, pitting Jason Statham against James Franco. Yet again, Statham finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. As a DEA agent just trying to enjoy retired life, Statham finds himself confronting a crime ring led by Franco when their children get into a schoolyard confrontation. When Franco aims to gets some dirt on the new small town resident, he learns he's an undercover cop and assumes he's there to bust him. The trailer looks generic and gives a little too much away, but this battle between Franco and Statham seems fun. Oh, and look at white trash Kate Bosworth! Here's the first trailer for Gary Fleder's Homefront, originally from Yahoo: Homefront is directed by Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury, Don't Say a Word
