Billy Longman is not a loser, it's just that he doesn't have much experience with the opposite sex. After all, most of the girls in college weren't interested in dating a sixteen year-old child prodigy. Even after college, Billy never seemed to find the right girl for him. All of that changed when Billy met Karen, a beautiful young medical student. Unfortunately, Billy takes two years to find the right moment to tell Karen how he feels. When he finally does, he's crushed to learn that she doesn't feel the same way about him. Broken-hearted, Billy looks for 'help' from his three best friends; Kevin, the misogynist from Boston; Brad, the trust-fund baby who NEVER has any romance problems; and Jimmy, the struggling improvisational actor who's even more pitiful with women than Billy. Despite their best efforts, Billy's luck doesn't change much. Things get even worse when dorky Jimmy stumbles upon Mae, the love of his life, leaving Billy to face the world of dating with only Kevin and Brad...Written by
A hilarious look at dating from the guy's perspective
Liars Club had me rolling in the aisles. Bob Marley steals the show with his witty banter and clever one-liners. This funny look at dating from the male perspective was an eye-opener for me! And, girls, you have to see Jason Shaw. He definitely gives Brad Pitt a run for his money! Definite eye candy!
While these guys are new on the scene- there are other familiar faces, like Elisa Donovan from Clueless and Sabrina. She's the character I most identified with throughout the film. And Amy Jo Johnson of Pink Power Ranger fame was fun to watch in a very different role than I had ever seen her in before.
I give this movie 2 thumbs up! It's a guy movie, a chick flick, and a date movie all rolled into one! Go see it- you won't be disappointed!
