There is a truly remarkable situation in this, picture in which an Italian pawns his sweetheart. The situation "gets over" well enough, but the feature of the picture is the grace and prettiness of Louisa (Ethel Clayton) who is not dressed like a poor immigrant. It is a clean, not unpleasant, story, and the leading woman makes the offering commendable as entertainment. The photography is good. - The Moving Picture World, August 23, 1913
