Shereé Whitfield Finally Tells Her Kids About Their Father’s Alleged Abuse: ‘It Was Very Toxic’

It was an emotional night for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shereé Whitfield on Sunday’s episode, as she sat down and opened up to her kids for the first time about the alleged abuse she received at the hands of their father, Bob Whitfield.

The somber scene happened at Chateau Shereé, where the 47-year-old reality star gathered with Kairo Whitfield, 21, Kaleigh Whitfield, 18, and her daughter from a previous relationship, Tierra Fuller, 32.

As fans remember, the abuse claims first came up last season on the hit Bravo show, when Bob —who was married to Shereé for 7 years and together with

Kaley Cuoco Flips Out on Jim Parsons During ‘Big Bang Theory’ Taping (Photo)
Uh-oh, Jim Parsons; looks like Kaley Cuoco has you fingered. “The Big Bang Theory” star Cuoco shared a behind-the-scenes look at the taping of the CBS sitcom on Tuesday, and quite a rude look it was. In the image, Cuoco is depicted shooting a salute of the one-fingered variety at Parsons who, judging from the expression on his face, isn’t particularly thrilled to be on the receiving end of the dubious honor. Author: Matt Rodgers

With the home entertainment release of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter acting as punctuation to Paul W.S. Anderson’s cinematic adaptation of the Capcom console phenomenon, it’s time to open a creaking door, descend a ladder, or put a pin code in a panel that you’ve taken five hours trying to work out. We’re here to round up the most horrific beasts from the film franchise, in order to make up our own Resident Evil: Monster Squad.

Resident Evil: Extinction – Sony Pictures Zombie Crows – Resident Evil: Extinction

So often the harbingers of doom (see Game of Thrones, The Omen), the crow qualifies for this list above your average moaning zombie, or blood stained undead Doberman, not because it was one of the most difficult things to shoot in the video game, but because it plays on the long-dormant fear of birds that we

An Interview with the Founder of the Seattle Film Critics Society

Please welcome Brian Zitzelman, our newest contributor. He's a member of the newly formed Seattle Film Critics Society and for his first post he's interviewing the founder of that society Michael Ward. A little inside peak for you. - Editor

Michael Ward of "Should I See It"by Brian Zitzelman

Beyond being a genuinely kind, smart man, Michael Ward has done what few have; he's created a film critic's society. The Seattle Film Critics Society to be exact.

Despite being home to a near month-long film festival, a multitude of cinemas devoted to older movies and generally being pretty comfortably snobby about the arts, the city of Seattle hasn't had a proper Film Society for over a decade. Mr. Ward changed that with months and months of work dealing with studio reps here and cavalcades of other oddities. In between tallying the final votes and writing sensationally for his own site Should I See It,

Lars von Trier speaks at Danish Robert awards
Controversial director makes rare appearance and speeches at Danish film awards.

Lars von Trier has once more broken his “vow of silence” to accept an armful of prizes at Denmark’s Robert awards.

The controversial Danish filmmaker’s Nymphomaniac: Director’s Cut scooped eight trophies including best feature and best director at the Danish Film Academy’s awards last night (Feb 1) – and von Trier was in attendance at the ceremony for the first time.

Accepting the Robert for best feature, von Trier said: “From Peter Aalbæk Jensen (his producing partner at Zentropa Entertainments), I know that some of the Robert awards are won by five votes, so I would like to thank those five persons in the auditorium. Thank you very much.”

The director of Antichrist and Dancer in the Dark has rarely spoken in public after being expelled from the Cannes Film Festival in 2011, where he brought Melancholia, after publicly joking that he was a Nazi

Submarine DVD Review

After his involvement with the likes of The Mighty Boosh, Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace and Smack The Pony, Richard Ayoade turns his very capable hands to directing for the big screen. His first feature length coming-of-age flick, Submarine, is based on Joe Dunthorne’s novel and follows Oliver’s journey of self-discovery, desperate attempt to fix his parents ailing marriage and quest for love.

The film is broken up into four parts of significant days and dates with Oliver’s (Craig Roberts) quirkily written voice-over guiding us through his daily life. Carrying a brief-case, he amusingly slips into school like a “torpedo” and through his constant commentary exposes his eccentricities. His mother, Jill (Sally Hawkins), once dreamt of being an actress and is described as “naturally neurotic”. By contrast, his father Lloyd (Noah Taylor) is a marine biologist who works for the University and is notable as being the first

King enlists for 'Lynch' telefilm

King enlists for 'Lynch' telefilm
Benjamin King has joined the cast of the NBC telefilm Saving Jessica Lynch, about the capture and rescue of the 20-year-old U.S. Army private during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He will play 38-year-old Master Sgt. Robert James Dowdy, who, like Lynch, was with the 507th Ordnance Maintenance Co. based out of Fort Bliss, Texas. Dowdy was one of the soldiers who died when their convoy was ambushed March 23. Lynch, who survived the attack, was taken unconscious to a hospital in the southern Iraqi city of Nasiriyah, from where she was rescued April 1. Canadian actress Laura Regan was tapped to play Lynch, with Nicholas Guilak set to play Mohammed Odeh Al-Rehaief, the Iraqi lawyer who alerted U.S. military officials to Lynch's whereabouts (HR 8/14). Also previously cast in the movie are Crystle Lightning and Nina Kaze. King, seen in this summer's actioner S.W.A.T., also was featured in the indie A Little Inside. He is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and manager Laina Cohn at Acronym Entertainment.
