Saban, Ramazan and Bayram are sailors in an Ottoman Navy and Hüsamettin is their commander. Hüsamettin's aide Ramazan, Saban who is foster son of Hüsamettin's sister and Bayram who is married to Hüsamettin's niece stays at Hüsamettin's family residence. Hüsamettin's sister thinks Ramazan is her foster son Saban when she realizes her mistake she introduces Ramazan to her brother as her son in law Bayram since she was afraid of Hüsamettin's short-tempered character. Things get complicated when real Saban and Bayram come to the residence. Now Saban has to be Ramazan and Bayram has to be Saban. Meanwhile, a gulyabani (a ghoul from Turkish folklore) haunts the residence. Written by ahmetkozan
It's a real funny film that will guaranteed to make you laugh. an incredible cast and brilliant performances (Kemal Sunal and Sener Sen are most notable) make this film a masterpiece for Turkish cinema. Lots of comedy is waiting for you to watch and have fun. it's not a wonderful story by all means though, but it doesn't mean that the film isn't good. it's a wonderful film that will make you laugh and feel good. Absolutely 10/10! Hilarious experience! I'd watched that brilliant film again recent days (I don't know how many times I'd watched it, more than 100 I suppose). One trivia is about Kemal Sunal (rest in peace). He wrote a thesis about himself and his films in the university (while he was 50 or older). He tried to explain how could people were still laughing at his films even they'd watched it a hundred times.
