Roman is married with children. His wife is suspicious about his movements and after following him one day, discovers him in female persona at a transsexuals' Self Help Group. She is horrified and uncomprehending, and the marriage nearly breaks up. He promises to renounce his intended sex-change, but eventually his feelings overpower him, and and he becomes Ramona. The film traces the destruction of the marital status-quo.
The process will be very familiar to the transsexual community, and may be educational for others; the action takes place in Germany so the legal and official processes follow practice there.
A sympathetic film, but not the easiest to watch.
The title means "Revelation within a Marriage"
