E! True Hollywood Story: Frank Sinatra (1998)

If you're familiar with this series then you know that there really wasn't anything ground-breaking to the "documentary" style but the main purpose of this was to give casual viewers general information on the life and career of the subject. On that level alone I've always found these episodes to be highly entertaining and that's the case here. Sinatra's life and career are the focus of this episode as we hear about the various highs and lows that he went through in regards to his music, his movies and his personal life. We hear about the various women he dated as well as the various fights he got into during his time. We get some great interviews including Janet Leigh, Debbie Reynolds and various others who knew the legend. Again, if you're looking for some sort of hard-hitting or ground-breaking look at Sinatra then you're not going to find it here. If you're wanting entertainment then there's plenty of that here to enjoy.
