Trivia The sign on the red building, which read "Welcome To GAA'S Firehouse," was over the entrance of an actual old firehouse, in the Soho neighborhood in Manhattan. This was where the Gay Activists Alliance met from 1971 to 1974. The Firehouse was destroyed by arson in 1974. See more »
