Obsessed with the peppery taste of blood-red cinnamon candy, Elsa, the statuesque, half-crazy owner of a mansion in the middle of nowhere, has chosen to live in obscurity. After all, the crammed-with-stolen-cash leather suitcase hidden somewhere inside the house demands secrecy. Then, a stealthy late-night visitor shows up at her door; she's Vera, her fragile chain-smoking companion. Little by little, eerily beautiful Elsa weaves a treacherous web under the nose of her guest, and holding a loaded, semi-automatic pistol in her hand, something that resembles love starts to unfold. However, as booze-addled visions blur the line between reality and fantasy, suddenly, the dark enigma of the bloated corpse floating in the swimming pool begets more questions.
