Revealing mistakes 

In the final scene by the river, the mother calls the little boy by his real name (Brendan), and not by the character's name (Jonathan), as shown in the credits.

When Alan asks to photograph the family of four, the mother calls her son "Brendan" but the credits list the two characters as "Jonathan's Mother" and "Jonathan" played by Kelly Ryder and her real-life son Brendan Ryder. It appears the actress accidentally called her son by his real name instead of his character's name.
