RockSchool 80's Gold!
2 February 2007 | by jason-1657See all my reviews

RockSchool was awesome, almost a faded memory now. I'm very lucky to still having VHS copies of the entire series which I've now converted to DVD but the quality (especially audio) has faded badly over the years. There's rumours of a DVD a few years ago but I fear it's been and gone, oh to get a copy.... Few clips on YouTube for anyone interested, check out Bootsy Collins and Larry Graham, fantastic! Original TV series was shown in the early eighties on BBC2 and featured Geoff Nicholls on drums, Henry Thomas on Bass and Dierdre Cartwright on lead guitar. Featured interviews with leading music stars from all genres. A book accompanying the series was also released ISBN 0 563 21059 1
