This short was made for the express purpose of noting the 20th Anniversary of Warners Vitaphone sound-on-film process, and was also made to be released concurrently, and shown on the same bill, with Warners' 1946 release of "Night and Day." And that is what happened. If a theatre-goer saw "Night and Day" on first-run in any theatre, they also saw "Okay for Sound." Unless they arrived lat, and then didn't stay for the "Extra Added Attractions."
