Storyline

Danish director Jon Bang Carlsen travels to South Africa to see how the society has changed since the fall of Apartheid. The intent was to show how white people living in isolated farms faced the new days of equality. But in the end the focus of the movie is on two very different women who both experienced a tragic loss: a young farmer, whose husband has been missing for two years, and the elderly owner of a second-hand shop whose son was tortured and killed.
