Both 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Hart of Dixie' were filmed in the same location. Liza Weil (Paris Gellar) has appeared in the TV show 'How to Get Away with Murder' with Wilson Bethel, playing Bonnie Winterbottom and Charles Mahoney respectively. Wilson played the character of Wade Kinsella in 'Hart of Dixie'. See more »
The iconic last cut in the opening credits for each and every season is an external shot of Luke's diner (we can see Lorelai, Rory, and Luke inside). This cut is from the last scene of the pilot. However, in the pilot, Luke's diner is a stand-alone building in the middle of a block on a busy street rather than a corner unit adjacent to the town square with windows facing in two directions and a door set in from the corner. The shot pulls back so that we can see the door and address. It can't be the Luke's we know from every episode after the pilot. The interior is a bit different as well. See more »
I have no idea what's going on with Friends this year. I started watching Gilmore Girls because I knew Scott Cohen was going to guest-star. I stayed with Gilmore Girls because the acting is really good (I love the actors who play Lorelai, Rory, Sookie and Luke), the writing and pace are excellent, and the theme is so similar to situations I have faced in my own life. The best thing about the show has been the budding romance between Lorelai Gilmore (played by Lauren Graham) and Max Medina (played by Scott Cohen). These two actors have magical chemistry. On top of that, the "Love, War and Snow" episode of 12/14/00 used the theme of magical snowfall in Lorelai's life to underscore the romance. Brilliant, high quality writing. I want MORE!
