Spanish Game Show That Quickly Turned Lame
29 April 2012 | by See all my reviews

A Que No Te Atreves was a Spanish game / stunt show revolving around getting audience members and contestants to perform risky, embarrassing, and / or messy dares in exchange for cash. Its hosts included Adriana Lavat and the now famous Sofia Vergara. Although both Lavat and Vergara brought a certain level of charisma to the proceedings, they failed to save an ultimately lame show.

One of the show's major problems was that it tried to be too gimmicky. Initially, all the episodes focused on different themes, such as nudity. However, when it became clear this was not pulling in ratings, they tried to spice things up by adding additional co-hosts, including children. It didn't help.

If you come across this on the web, it's only worth watching for the presence of Vergara and Lavat, both of whom are quite attractive.
