Storyline

In this second adventure, Neo and the rebel leaders estimate that they have 72 hours until Zion falls under siege to the Machine Army. Only a matter of hours separates the last human enclave on Earth from 250,000 Sentinels programmed to destroy mankind. But the citizens of Zion, emboldened by Morpheus conviction that the One will fulfill the Oracles Prophecy and end the war with the Machines, rest all manner of hope and expectation on Neo, who finds himself stalled by disturbing visions as he searches for a course of action. Trivia

The freeway exit sign (the one listing Whipple Ave., Woodside Rd., and Marsh Rd.) passed during the freeway chase, is the same sign that you would pass on the real-life U.S. Highway 101, if you had just left the headquarters of Oracle Corporation, and were heading southbound on U.S. Highway 101. Goofs

At the start of the Burly Brawl when we see Smith throw Neo through a bench, when Smith goes up to jump on him, from this point of view, the two or three steps behind the bench are nowhere to be seen, yet when Smith lands on the ground, the steps are probably less than a foot away from the bench. Alternate Versions

The version shown on TBS dubs the excessive use of the word "Shit" to "Shoot" or "Shucks." It also omits the nudity during the scene in Zion about 25 minutes in and the lines "You're fucking dead!" and "I'm gonna fucking kill you!" have the expletives cut out of the scene. Plus some of the car chase was omitted. See more »

Great film. Make sure you watch all 3
23 February 2020 | by MR_HeracliusSee all my reviews

While not as coherent as the first film, The Matrix Reloaded is still great fun and attempts (but doesn't always succeed) to add some smarter ideas into the mix along with action that has to be seen to be believed.
