Storyline

A cruel and unjust fate separates the impoverished single mother, Vera, from her beloved only son--the infant, Christakis--as she leaves Greece to seek a job and a better future in far-off Australia. Forced to entrust a kind lady with her boy's life, Vera gives him a sterling silver cross pendant, swearing that she will return one day with enough money to reunite with him once and for all. However, when Vera loses her little boy for the second time--this time, no one knows his whereabouts--only God and the mother's sole gift can help identify Christakis amid the Athenian orphans. Will the pained mother ever find her little son? Written by Nick Riganas
