A group of tourists arrives in Burkittsville, Maryland after seeing The Blair Witch Project (1999) to explore the mythology and phenomenon, only to come face to face with their own neuroses and possibly the witch herself.
To cash in on all of the "real world" hype of the events in the first film, a man from Burkitsville, Maryland opens a "Blair Witch Hunt" tour, which shows patrons various locations from the original film. A bunch of college students decide to take the tour, and wind up in Rustin Parr's house. There, they decide to camp for the evening, but in the morning, they realize they didn't sleep and they don't remember anything that happened the previous night. From there, they go back to town, and discover that something...or someone has come with them.Written by

One of the Worst Movie Sequels of All Time
If you enjoyed the original Blair Witch
Project and expect Book Of Shadows to follow relatively faithfully in its footsteps, you'll be in for a massive disappointment.
Other than the opening 10 minutes or so with all the 'look what the first movie did to Burkittsville' stuff, the rest of the film might as well be a standard spooky horror yarn with nothing whatsoever to do with the Blair Witch lore.
Go into it expecting a cheesy B-movie other than a Blair Witch sequel, then, and you may be pleasantly surprised by the bizarre and unexplained goings-on that... um, go on.
Please stop making bad sequels like The Descent 2, Hostel 2 , Saw 2 and this one .
