Superb Violent Pink film

The first film in Yasauharu's quadrilogy of RAPE, RAPE 13TH HOUR, ASSAULT JACK THE RIPPER and RAPING!

This is amazing cinema, erotic and brutal, sharp and incisive.

After a woman is raped, her sexuality and deviant tendencies are awakened as she pursues her rapist to his ultimate conclusion.

Extremely well shot and directed, the film has a fetid air of menace and repressed sexuality.

Some of the rape scenes are more sensual than brutal and Hasebe's skill with suggestive imagery is powerful and inspiring.

A good place to start if you're game enough to enter this fascinating, maligned genre.
