Kevin is wandering through the confused haze that most college students pass through at one time or another: lectures that make little - if any - sense, pranks by the fraternities and sororities, deep yet meaningless discussions on philosophy with ones friends. Through all of this, Kevin passes in and out of a dream-like fantasy world, in which he and his friends sail the ship 'Queen of Sheba' to a variety of islands, with natives both friendly and hostile. Did You Know?

The film was originally released in Seattle in February of 1971. It was "four-walled," which means that the small suburban movie theater was actually rented by the producers to showcase their film. Unfortunately, there was a severe snow storm when the film opened for a one-week run. On opening night, there were only two or three people in the theater. The film then disappeared until it surfaced on Prism Home Entertainment VHS in the mid-1980's.

When that 1971 screening began, there was no sound in the auditorium for the first ten minutes or so, which was ironic given the film's title. See more »

A college geek daydreams about owning a ship with his friends...
8 November 1999 | by filmnut81See all my reviews

I watched this movie recently, and what can I say? I was impressed with the individualism, laughed at how obsessed James (Gary Busey) was with sex, and tried to understand it at the same time! It was a college film, I'm assuming. Not too bad, though, very imaginative and creative. Very early roles for non-actors, at the time (Dennis Christopher, Gary Busey) Originally shot in 1970. Check it out, if you're lucky enough to know someone who owns this out-of-print movie! It's a pretty wild and crazy ride into the fantasy world! If you're not a movie buff, you probably don't need to waste your time trying to find this movie! Trust me, it's hard-to-find!
