Storyline

A woman learns that her husband has been having a very open affair with his secretary and has promised marriage. The wife sues for divorce and also sues the secretary based on an obscure law on alienation of affection, which was created to protect married couples from homewreckers. This sets a new court room consideration, as the culpability of the other woman must be defended and removes from consideration the fault of the married partners. Main Plot: A woman learns that her husband has been having a very open affair with his secretary, the wife sues the secretary for breaking up her marriage.

Review: The Price of a Broken Heart is a surprisingly well-made TV Drama. The performances are good, the story (which is partly based on real events) is bizarre and out-there, but it is the type of film that is interesting from start to finish. Even though the overall movie drags on a bit, i couldn't stop watching until the closing credits, it is written and made quite well because it has you hooked wanting to know the final outcome.

The Price of a Broken Heart is in no way a brilliant movie, but it is very watchable. If you like your TV Drama films, i recommend that you check out this movie.
