Simple, but effective

This short presents a very straightforward set of images depicting a young woman attempting to engage in a physical relationship with a statue. It's sexual in tone, with being at all explicit. The message is clearly a critique of the hero-worship, cult-of-personality in Eastern-bloc Europe (specifically Yugoslavia). This was no doubt pushing the boundaries of the time, and certainly indicates the direction that Makevejev's films would take later in his career. At 4mins, this doesn't demand much of the audience, but is probably not more than an interesting curio of the time for a contemporary audience. Worth seeing for fans of the director.
