  • When London Egyptologists Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn "Evy" (Rachel Weisz) O'Connell's eight-year-old son Alex (Freddie Boath) tries on the golden Bracelet of Anubis, the Egyptian God of the Underworld, he unwittingly sets into motion a series of events that will raise the Scorpion King (Dwayne Johnson), a 5,000-year-old warrior who has the power to control the jackal-headed Army of Anubis. In the meantime, an Egyptian cult has reawakened the 3,000-year-old mummified body of high priest Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), who is searching for his beloved Anck Su Namun (Patricia Velasquez) and believes that he can use the Army of Anubis to find her and to conquer the world. As if that's not problems enough, Alex has only seven days to travel to the oasis of Ahm Shere in Egypt before the rays of the sun kill him. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • Jonathan throws the Spear of Osiris at the Scorpion King, but Imhotep catches it in midair, wanting to be the one to kill the Scorpion King and take over his army. Imhotep then tosses it at the Scorpion King, but Rick is able to leap into the air and grab it. Rick impales the Scorpion King with the spear and sends him tumbling into a chasm leading to the Underworld. The Scorpion King's death breaks the oath between him and Anubis and stops his army from attacking the Medjai warriors. The pyramid begins to collapse, causing Rick and Imhotep to fall into the chasm, but they manage to cling to the edge. Dodging falling rocks, Evy rushes in to pull Rick out of the pit, but Anck-su-namun runs away, ignoring Imhotep's cries for help. Heartbroken, Imhotep lets go of the ledge, falling to his death. Trying to flee the crumbling pyramid, Anck-su-namun falls into a pit of scorpions and scarabs. Realizing that the pyramid is sucking the oasis of Ahm Shere into itself, Rick, Evy, Alex, and Jonathan climb to the top in order to escape the swirling vortex. Suddenly Izzy (Shaun Parkes) appears in his dirigible and rescues the family, but not before Jonathan grabs the great diamond at the top of the pyramid. In the final scene, the dirigible flies away while medjai Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr) on the ground salutes them. As Evy and Rick kiss each other, Izzy and Jonathan argue about who owns the golden spear.
