Wow...this is an odd little curio from 1909! In the film "Spring", there really isn't a plot per se, but a series of vignettes with ladies and a few children dressed up in idealized Grecian-sort of clothing as well as dressed up like fairies. They cavort about in a variety of settings in the Springtime and I assume it's a fanciful way of dramatizing how these spirits all cause Spring to occur. It is a bit bizarre and very dated--and seeing ladies dancing about in diaphanous clothing is interesting...though not especially entertaining when seen today. However, the exceptionally nice print, music and the oval aperture make for a rather artistic viewing experience--even if it's not for most tastes!
