This was a stop-animation series about a bear and his animal friends. In Canada the bear was known as "Jeremy". He had a series of adventures, which included getting stuck in a circus, visiting the wild west, building a space ship, and building a boat.
It appears that the original was in Polish and was re-dubbed for English. The series played on TVOntario in Canada in the mid 70's as "Jeremy". Some of the episodes were real tear-jerkers, but others were surprisingly entertaining for children. The pacing of the show was particularly good. Hopefully someone can track down the DVD rights for this show and re-release it.
