IMAX format is not enough to make a great film
13 April 1999 | by See all my reviews

This movie confirmed my thinking that the great IMAX format is not enough to make a movie good. The focus on extreme sports sounds perfect but many of the shots were so panoramic that you lost perspective on the size of the waves and the slope of the mountains. Some of the scenes were truly spectacular, just not enough of them.
