Yasauki Kurata plays Dragon, a one man vigilante who is out to stop Shadow, a worldwide organization of killers who make their victims look like they died by accident or their own hand. In each of the 26 episodes Dragon faces a different formidable opponent and tries to stop them. Aided sort of by his goofy apprentice Kojiro and also helped by the frequently drunk Dr. Kuri (not as a fighter, he runs a small office to help people), Dragon tries to do his justice. I am sure this was never meant to be award winning material, and it is aimed at teenage boys mostly. Yasauki Kurata is quite agile and delivers quite a kick. If you look beyond the show's limitations, as it is just about Dragon facing another opponent, and the fact that sometimes its obvious he doesn't really connect on his karate, this is an easy to follow fun series that is, again, aimed at teens. Its watchable and recommended mostly in that context.
