Trivia

(At around fifty minutes) When Nicky is talking with the Asian people on the street, you can see in the background "Tom's Restaurant", which stood in for "Monk's Diner" on Seinfeld (1989). See more »

Goofs

(at around 41 mins) Nicky holds the jacket from the Chicago V album. The song he plays ("Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is") is from Chicago's first album called Chicago Transit Authority (or Chicago I). See more »

Crazy Credits

During the closing credits, flashes of the character whereabouts were explained. When they explain Nicky's mom, (Reese Witherspoon) a picture still of her is shown saying "Mom immediately fell in love with her new aerobics instructor... Chris Farley." Giving a tribute to Chris who died 3 years before the film in 1997. The aerobics reference is referring to his classic skit on SNL that will always be hilariously remembered. Adam and the rest of the SNL gang were great friends with Farley. See more »

Alternate Versions

In the FOX 2004 presentation, many things were edited. All references to Popeye's are cut, so "Popeye's Chicken is fucking awesome" becomes "Chicken is kickin'". "Hitler's ass" becomes "Hitler's rear", "The sh*t has hit the fan." becomes "It has hit the fan". A deleted scene of the peeper becoming bait and being eaten by a fish was also added. The asking of the gatekeeper whether there were boobs on his head was cut out, and the Coke/Pepsi transformation was partially cut out. See more »

Little Nicky stands ten feet tall
14 August 2016 | by RealrockerhalloweenSee all my reviews

Little Nicky is an amazing comedy about the son of the devil who wants to rock out to heavy tunes and party all day. When his father needs help, its up to out hero to save the day.

Its not your standard variety little fish in a big pond story line. Nicky has to adjust to living on earth from eating to meeting girls. He has to rely on a pet Bill to be his guide and show him the ropes of the big city.

It almost parallels a father sending his slacker son off to mature and grow as a person.

Some of the best moments are when he almost chokes on chicken or his roommate catches him sleeping on a heater.

If I was the actor who shared a room with him I'd be raising questions about his background or calling in a priest for an exorcism.

Its almost cartoonist with the world set up and it works in its favor. It is an Adam Sandler comedy after all.

It seems really charming when Nicky has to win Valerie's heart. Its almost magical in the acting and chemistry Patricia and Adam have as the leads.

Adam plays him with passion, a real sweet heart and a little misunderstood. Patrica plays Valerie as gentle, awkward and a girl next door type.

Join Nicky, Valerie and Mr. Beefy as they explore the real world.
