Charles S. Dutton,
More than 10 years after 'Terminator 2', John Connor now exists only as a drifter - living 'off the grid', so no more Terminators from the future can hunt him down. Unfortunately, SkyNet does send another one back - and this one is called the T-X, even more powerful & advanced than the dreaded T-1000. However, another CSM-101 Terminator is also sent back to protect John against the T-X. Now, Skynet is patiently assuming control of civilian computer systems, under the guise of a computer virus. John has also met his future wife, Kate Brewster, whose father - a U.S. Air Force General - is in charge of the military computer systems & is leery of up linking SkyNet. However, when the SkyNet virus infects the U.S military computers & leaves the country open to attack, the machines begin their horrific takeover. Soon a nuclear war will result - and the war against the machines will begin. Can the outdated CSM-101 Terminator eliminate the highly advanced T-X - or will a darker future await ...Written by
Nick Stahl had to audition five times and go through three screen tests before he was chosen for the part of John Connor. However, he did turn down this role in Terminator Salvation (2009). See more »
The Terminator turns to open fire on the SWAT team at the cemetery twice; first when Dr. Silberman sees him (as evidenced by the visible muzzle flash from the machine gun, with no audible gunshot), and again when he actually does start shooting. See more »
The future has not been written. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves. I wish I could believe that. All my life my mother told me the storm was coming, Judgment Day, the beginning of the war between man and machines. Three billion lives would vanish in an instant, and I would lead what was left of the human race to ultimate ...

Brilliant, really brilliant. I love this movie exactly as I loved T1 and T2. Arnie is still Arnie :) and I think, if there's a fourth part it should be with him again. I have just one little note - too much humor. Why he had to put these stupid star-glaces?? Why saying "I'll Be Back" and "She'll be Back". Just a few moments that made me a little nervous. The pressure from the first and the second part wasn't so great here because of these comedy elements. But everything else is just perfect and I'm saying to everybody - Watch this film... it really deserves your money.
P.S. Nick Stahl is brilliant - made his role the bast way possible.
