It's all about The Beatles
20 January 2007 | by ignaciorodarteSee all my reviews

This show was broadcast in 1967, and showed a very distinctive thing about every country around the world. England, of course, showed "their" Beatles performing the hymn "All You Need Is Love". Some say Lennon wrote this song especially for the show, and some others say it was already written. Not even the own Beatles can say for sure. You can see some of the Beatles' friends in the TV set, including Rolling Stone Mick Jagger. This is the version that was used for the Magical Mystery Tour album, and actually the only take that was ever made. Yo can hear McCartney making a mistake on his bass, close to the end of the song. A historic document.
