No pun intended - not really surprising ... or a movie that will have twists you won't be able to see coming. That said, it is quite decent. The performances are nicely too (though one might have issues with my use of the word nicely). If you are German or Germany based - you will know Juhnke ... he was quite the character. And a good choice to play the lead role here.
So becoming rich when being poor initially. There is quite a lot of criticism for sure. Your world view or what you think is good about society will play a role too for sure. Of course you can just enjoy the comedy part of it all ... because you may not care about what the overall message is. Decent then ...
