Boulevard of the Revolution

While I wish I could praise this film, it falls short of expectations. The dialogues are poor, the acting is subpar especially for Bojana Maljevic, Branislav Lecic and Miralem Zupcevic and others (only exception was Olivera Markovic), and the editing leaves much to be desired. It seems to have been created during a time when talented filmmakers were unavailable or preoccupied with other matters.

Vladimir Blazevski's film resembles the inexpensive crime novels found in newsagents - just catering to the general public! There is a lack of artistic value in this production, focusing solely on entertainment which could have been executed more effectively.

A poorly written romantic story between a criminal and the daughter of a policeman. The film never offers anything exciting, and ends with the most predictable and dissatisfying third act. One wonders why this script was even written, it comes across as lazy and unimaginative. No artistic spark.
