Jeeva also says that he sent 2 spies after Gopal, including Subodh. The confession is heard by Verma. Gopal says that he never killed Vimla and only saw her killer once. Suddenly Pran returns and Gopal has seen him for the first time. Gopal recognizes Pran as Vimla's killer.
Pran and Prem try to escape with Sapna, but Gopal intervenes and stop them with the help of Verma. Pran admits that he killed Vimla as she cheated on him to marry Deepak/Gopal. Prem knew this and was blackmailing Pran to marry Sapna.
