Abitur, school is finally over and the class of the Gymnasium with all of its different characters face the last party before whatever nev challenges lies ahead of them. Making decisions about your future is one of them, and each of the people we get to know and who get portrait in detail for the viewer gets to grow up while we watch. It's a wonderful movie with many parallel plots that interfere with each other lovely characters, an awesome sound and Visual piece about growing up and understanding right from wrong when making decisions you don't know the do, but which will determin the path of your life. Apocalyptic party-movie - not superficial
25 March 2002 | by See all my reviews

This fine TV-movie is better than most of the typical German teen-movies that made it onto the big screen. Very funny, sometimes tragic, and despite some exaggerated coincidences very believable. The imagery is beautiful and worth of being seen in German cinemas (which will never happen). This film is about friendship and love. These are real characters, not stereotypes (at least, there are no stereotypes you wouldn't know from YOUR class). A must for students leaving school. Fun for all who want to remember their last day in school...
