Standard and entertaining Peaunts short.

Warning: Spoilers
Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown involves Snoopy meeting another dog with whom he becomes infatuated and deciding to get married, a prospect that seemingly perplexes Charlie Brown and frustrates Woodstock. Snoopy invites Spike to the wedding (though no such invitation is extended to Snoopy's other siblings.) One subplot sees Lucy Van Pelt feeding Spike ice cream after seeing the dire state that he is in (Much to Linus Van Pelt's chagrin as Spike is being accommodated in his room.) Eventually, however, the wedding is called off when Snoopy's bride runs off. Snoopy feels sad but quickly gets over it and goes back to having fun with Woodstock. Admittedly, this isn't a terribly focused film but it does all right and I had fun watching it (as I do most of them.) I say to check it out and see for yourself.

Spike's Debut
Better_Sith_Than_Sorry4 September 2023
Roughly 10 years after first appearing in the Peanuts daily comic strip, Snoopy's brother Spike finally makes his animated debut in this one.

Plot In a Nutshell: Snoopy announces his impending nuptials and the Peanuts gang scrambles to prepare for the ceremony, including welcoming his California-based brother to the festivities.

The main plot of this special is lifted from a series of strips Schulz wrote back in 1977. I guess he was running a little short on ideas. It opens with Snoopy acting as a guard dog for Peppermint Patty while her dad is away. When he's there, Snoopy meets and falls in love with a poodle named Genevieve, but she looks an awful lot like Fifi, the poodle who captured Snoopy's heart in "Life Is A Circus, CB." Anyway, the couple announces their wedding intentions and this serves as the catalyst for bringing Spike into the story, for he will act as Snoopy's 'best beagle' at the ceremony.

It was nice to finally see Spike on screen. Rerun, another rarely-seen character to this point, was mentioned as being tapped for the ring bearer, but he was not seen. Overall this was a solid if not spectacular Peanuts entry. However it was a welcome return to form after "It's Flashbeagle, CB" which wasn't so great imo. Worth a look.

7/10. Would I watch again (Y/N)?: Sure why not.

Dr. Seuss classic character comes to life in this old favorite cartoon.
Mark-AA841 December 2022
This is my favorite Dr. Seuss special/short. The songs are excellent and the animation was outstanding. My favorite part was where the Cat gives a little language lesson.

The two kids in this story are left alone after their mother goes out. That's when the Cat comes in to try to entertain them. But the main plot is that the Cat needs to find his moss-covered three-handled family gradunza...whatever that is. Alan Sherman did a great job in that cartoon voicing the Cat.

There are other Dr. Seuss animated favorites which I recommend. There's the Lorax, the Grinch, and especially Dr. Seuss on the Loose.

Soooo funny!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Not gonna lie, this movie was freaking hysterical. I haven't seen it in forever, but I do remember watching it as a kid with my family. I think this is the only one that Belle (Snoopy's girlfriend?) makes an appearance in, and his brother Spike who lives in like Arizona or something in a cactus is in it too. I laughed the whole time. The best is that you finally get to see the inside of Snoopy's dog house, he has a basement full of ties! This is probably one of my favorites. I don't remember the exact end so I'm not going to say it but I recommend it! These are my favorite cartoons of all time and this one is probably one of the best in my mind.
