Tells the story if three men, a writer, a doctor and a orchestral conductor.
After several years they all end up together at the town they grew up in and old secrets start to surface.
What i do like about the movie is how the three men have their distinct character trades. The conductor is very aggressive, the doctor is timid and the writer a kind of in the moment person who enjoyes toying with his friends emotions. Story by a novel of Simon Vestdijk is good and loved the few moments where the fourth wall is slightly gets broken. Sadly you get a lot of overacting, strange cuts, melodramatic backstory scenes and corny soundtrack.
If you can look past that, there is an interesting movie hidden underneath and has a good payoff.
