Five friends experience love with one beautiful girl, but she loves only one of them. Every weekend this bang goes for a visit to their common friend who is a painter. Everything is being played around a big river (in real the river is Danube). Based on Guy de Maupassant short story Fly, this movie is full of poetry and love and it celebrates life and summer. Translated to English the title means "Sweet Games of Last Summer."
I have seen this movie couple of times and every time I see it, it makes feel really happy about everything in my life. Also the movie is full of the best Czechoslovakian and later Slovakian actors ever. Director Juraj Herz belongs to the best in region of Central Europe.
