Trying to piece together her last known movements, King finds unsettling evidence of a life gone off the rails - drugs, sex and secrets in the sleazy underbelly of the City of Angels. Undeterred by warnings to go home, King proves to be more than a match for the violence he is confronted with as he relentlessly pursues the truth about what happened to his sister.

Has a very similar plot to Steven Soderberg's The Limey - a man comes to LA to track down the person responsible for the death of someone, his daughter in The Limey. Terrance Stamp's character in that movie is prone to violence, the same way that Chadwick Boseman's is in this film. See more »

Towards the end of the film when Jacob is giving a goodbye sendoff to Kelly and her daughter on the bridge before they get on the bus, there are no official charter bus stops on the 6th Street Viaduct Bridge or any Los Angeles bridges (which has since been demolished) Only in emergencies are unofficial stops made. This was solely created for the movie. See more »

Netflix's answer to violent revenge flicks like Get Carter.

Fairly decent, memorable for Chadwick Boseman's performance and some pretty tense scenes, but not really in the same ball park as some of the best revenge movies.
