Sex & Nudity

  • A husband attempts to have sex with his wife but before they begin she tells him they can't do it on the new couch. He gets angry and tells her that it is just a thing.
  • A teenage man hangs out with his girlfriend in his room. He is completely nude and you get small glimpses. There is no sex.
  • A man removes his clothes in front of a mirror. His naked ass is show for some time.
  • A man watches a young woman take a bath and he puts rose peddles in the bath water, obviously he puts something else in it that increases her libido because she starts moaning.
  • There is one sex scene, a couple have sex in a motel room. There is wild thrusting and loud moans, there is a very brief view of the upper leg and abdominal area with some detail. The detail shows a good amount of their crotch but no genital detail. The sheet happens to be pulled up before anything explicit is shown on screen.
  • A girl shows her breasts to a boy next door through her window, breasts are shown briefly. She is underage (in the movie and in real life. The scene was filmed while her parents were present).
  • A middle aged man attempts to have sex with a young woman. Her shirt and pants are removed (her breasts are shown), nothing else happens.
  • A couple of scenes where a man masturbates. One scene has his wife next to him watching before waking him up and yelling at him.
  • Many other explicit Homosexual subjects

Violence & Gore

  • A girl asks a boy to kill her dad. She then says that she is just joking.

  • A woman slaps her teenage daughter in the face.
  • A man is shown with blood gashing out of his head at the end of the movie.

  • A man calls his son a F*ggot.
  • 30 uses of f*ck -R, some are used in an explicit sexual way
  • many uses of shit
  • some uses of d*ck
  • 1 use of cock***ker
  • 2 uses of c**t

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • An 18 year old man deals marijuana and is also shown smoking it on several occasions.
  • A middle aged man is shown smoking pot frequently.
  • People drink on several occasions.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A father (who seems to have some sort of PTSD) tells his son to get out of the house. The mother (who seems to have some sort of delusional mental disorder) and tells her son to wear a raincoat. The son tells his mom that he wished things could have been better before leaving.
  • The sex scene does show some almost explicit detail, but it is very brief so it's hard to notice. That scene is kept in the Rated R version. Note that original version was changed to NC-17 because of the scene where the guy's dad violently beats him up because he thought he was giving homosexual oral sex, and the word cock***ker is used in that same scene. That's a very disturbing scene. They made a cut version that cuts that scene out to make it a R. Some explicit sex talks and explicit sexual uses of the f word are also cut in the R version.
  • The sexuality in the cut version is strong, especially the sex scene.
