Ah, Batfink. Happy days in the 1980s on children's telly when this set of cartoons vied with the attention given to the much older 'Mighty Mouse' (who sang opera, I seem to remember, in a deep basso voice I found scary as a child ...).
Batfink was a sarcastic character who was invincible. Drawn well and voiced with panache, he liked a fight and liked to be in trouble. Each episode was pretty much the same (Batfink always won the day to come back again) but they were fun.
Only ever shown once on TV? Isn't it interesting how they lingered in the mind all these years if that's the case?
